With Foundations, you lay the foundation for a great start to the most-played Trading Card Game, Magic: The Gathering. If you are familiar with Jumpstart-style Play Boosters, the new Foundations also comes with five Commander Decks, each first single-color, ideal for trying Magic as a step further and getting acquainted with the Commander format.

What is the Commander Format?

Commander is a Magic: The Gathering multiplayer variant that has developed into the most popular way to play Magic in recent years. Every player plays with a deck of 99 unique cards, led by a legendary creature: the Commander. An epic battle is guaranteed, and thanks to the large number of unique cards the replayability is enormous.

Commander Deck Mono Black: Wretched Ranks

Make the titular shadow architect, Eriette of Lochthwain, proud. In this deck, you build a growing Zombie army where every creature contributed to an ever-present shared threat. What starts as a few meager corpses quickly grows into an unstoppable horde.

As soon as your army is large enough, you boost their attack power and strike mercilessly. Opponents see their defenses collapse as your zombies take over the playing field and send everything and everyone to the graveyard!
